Remote Monitoring streams your Resolve viewer from the cloud workstation to a second computer (for example, a client or supervisor watching from another location). You'll need a free Blackmagic Cloud account and a TURN server address, which ProdTech provides.
- On the cloud workstation, launch DaVinci Resolve and open a project.
- Go to File > Preferences and open the General tab.
- Check Use TURN server for Remote Monitoring and paste in the TURN server address provided by Amazon MGM Studios ProdTech. It looks like
turn://resolve:<key>@turn.faff-01.lax.amazonstudios.com:3478?transport=udp. If you don't have a TURN address, request one from post-support@amazonstudios.com. - Click Save.
- Make sure you have created a free Blackmagic Cloud account at cloud.blackmagicdesign.com, this uses your own personal details.
- Go to Workspace > Remote Monitoring and sign in with your Blackmagic Cloud credentials. If you can't see the Remote Monitor window, click the Remote Monitor icon at the bottom right.
- Set Video Codec to H.265 4:4:4 10-bit, and set the Bitrate based on your format: 10 Mbps or higher for HD, 60 Mbps or higher for UHD. Increase the bitrate if you need better quality and your connection can support it.
- Click Start Session. This generates a session code.
- On the computer you want to view the feed on, open the DaVinci Remote Monitor app, paste in the session code, and click Join.
- Back on the cloud workstation, accept the incoming request in the Session Participants list by clicking Accept.
- The video feed should now appear. Hover your mouse over the window to see the current bitrate and session duration, or right-click the window and choose Show Stats for detailed statistics (packets, packet loss, jitter, and latency).

When to contact support
If the self-service steps above don't resolve your issue, reach out to the team that handles your type of request:
ProdTech: post-support@amazonstudios.com
ProdTech manages Studio in the Cloud, including initial user onboarding, new account creation, and provisioning access to storage, workspaces, cloud workstations, applications, and tools, plus the setup, performance, and technical issues covered in this guide.
TechOps (TOPS): support@amazonstudios.com
TechOps manages your Originals Access account, and will assist you with issues around Okta sign-in/SSO problems, password resets, MFA/2FA resets (including a new phone), and account lockouts.
TechOps also handles requests for access to specific applications (such as Box, Flow Capture, or Aspera on Cloud).
When contacting us, help us resolve your issue quickly by always including:
- Your full name and account email (
@originalsaccess.com). - A clear description of the problem and the exact error message you see (a screenshot helps).
- Your show code and show name
- The show/workspace, workstation, or application involved.
- When the problem started and what you've already tried.
Please open a new request for each separate issue rather than replying to an older, resolved one, so it reaches the right team.
